TELETUBBIES: "PERFECT SOCIETY"
I watched the show when I was just a lad; it had pretty colors, weird alien-like creatures running around. And then one day it occurred to me, that there might be something a little deeper behind this whole program. Something hidden...a conspiracy!

INFORMATION
Teletubbies is the latest creation of Anne Wood, whose company, Ragdoll, is responsible for pre-school television programmes 'Rosie and Jim' and 'Tots TV'. Aimed, as it is, at a far younger audience than has been previously targeted by a television programme - the one- to four-year-olds, Teletubbies landed on our screens with a resounding splash.
The visuals - highly saturated colors, sparse framing, stylized sets; the soundtrack - bouncy music, near-gibberish toddler-speak, parps farts and bells; the structure - tiny set-pieces and constant repetition - these mark the programme out as different. Try telling people that these factors are all the result of extensive research into what will most stimulate such a young target audience, and your words will fall on deaf ears. A vocal segment of Concerned Parents hear only the baby-speak, and criticize the programme for abandoning the Queen's English. Students enjoy the way that the programme's reflection of the experience of being a toddler is also a pretty good reflection of the experience of taking certain proscribed pharmaceuticals. And toddlers? Well, they just watch it uncritically, and enjoy themselves.
Each episode follows a standard format - after the opening credits, there is a short scene involving one or all of the Teletubbies getting up to tubbieactivities. Usually involving toast or custard. Then the windmill spins up, and the Teletubbies are called away to a hilltop. One of them is selected as the day's display, and a short film starts playing on its tummy-telly. The film is live action, and involves small children doing something dull. When the film has finished, the Teletubbies shout "Again! Again again!" and the film is repeated in its entirety. After the film, the Teletubbies generally have a longer period of play, rounded off with some computer-generated animation superimposed on their land. Then, all too soon, it's time for tubbie-bye-bye and the end credits.

THEORY

Okay, that runs down the basic history of the show. It was produced for children at a very young age, and they don't really understand the depth of which the show really goes into showcasing a perfect society. A society controlled by one leader, with the population being dumber than a tampon. By buying all of their merchandise, we are feeding into their ongoing experiment. It seems to be working pretty well, they are told when to come out of their homes, when to do anything, they are only given the essentials, which is most definitely cost-effective, they are fed "Tubby custard" which is probably a bland paste, much like gruel.

Those "shower head" speakers are scientists, telling them to go about their daily lives, and if not for the scientists, the teletubbies wouldn't know when to do anything. I am guessing they probably received a lobotomy. Those costumes they are wearing are a uniform, to make them each look alike, except for color and one unique difference, a shape on top of their heads. My guess is that these shapes are just identification, and all of the colors are made so that they feel like happy things surround them, to keep them easily amused with intense visual stimulation. All of these colors are brought together to create false emotions, largely exaggerated in every scenario. When they are happy, they jump up and down, when they are sad, they mope around, when they are intrigued, they won't let go of it until their interest becomes averted by some other infantile thing. A society of mindless drones, in which no violence, fear, hurt, or any other negative emotion is conceived. In this way, they are completely satisfied with their simple lives, and thus easily controlled. And what better than a population that is easily commanded?

Their environment is absolutely perfect, flawless in fact, which only means that there are other people maintaining these grounds, these people being the scientists. The teletubbies are the only ones shown of their species on the show, yet there are "hills" around the whole landscape. These hills are testing facilities, housing for the manpower it takes to accommodate such an experiment. This "television show" for the younger generation is exactly what it is meant to do, teach children. And it teaches children how to be dominated, how to succumb to absolute dictation, brainwashing the way for one world leader of power without comprehension.
